Recent News: Giving Back to Horse Therapy
Our close friend Julie Cravens has a beautiful idea to celebrate her 50th birthday by making a difference to local horse therapy programs like Synchrony Farm. If you'd like to learn more, MLive has a great write-up with more details, and here's a link to Synchrony Farm's wishlist.
What Synchrony Farm Offers
Synchrony Farm offers a variety of lessons for riders and training for horses. Our trainer, Julie Arkison, combines the schools of Dressage and Vaquero riding to build a solid foundation between the horse and rider. For those without horses who are interested in learning horsemanship, we have school horses available.
While there are many ways to care for horses, at Synchrony Farm we strive to do what is best from the horse's perspective. Since research indicates that turnout is better than being in a stall, we get the horses outside as much as possible. In the case of severe weather or ill animals, we offer comfortable and clean stalls.
Because our personal residence is located only a few hundred feet from the barn, we can ensure your horse is safe and secure twenty-four hours a day.
We look forward to providing a quality environment for you and your equine companion. If you would like a tour of the facility, contact us and we’ll be happy to show you around!
